Belarusian State Technological University is one of the leading educational and scientific centers of the Republic of Belarus. It was founded in 1930. Now the University is a large multi-profile educational and scientific center in the Republic of Belarus. The Belarusian National Technical University (BNTU) is one of the leading technical universities of Belarus. The BNTU has been training engineers since 1920. The BNTU today comprises 17 faculties offering high-quality training in 89 specialities and 121 specializations. Besides, the BNTU provides various facilities for the students' personal growth and recreation: sports grounds, cultural centers, libraries, student clubs, etc.

PRE-UNIVERSITY DEPARTMENT
Bachelor degrees from accredited colleges and universities can be important stepping-stones toward a successful career.The most common type of undergraduate program is a bachelor's degree, usually awarded after four years of successful study.
PhD is the abbreviation for Doctor of Philosophy, and is usually awarded after completing extensive research in a specified field of study. This research must significantly contribute to the current knowledge base, and must be completed with a dissertation or thesis. Often the dissertation or thesis must be defended in front of a panel of experts in the field and only after successful defense, the degree of PhD is conferred. A PhD degree usually takes a minimum of 4 years to complete, but sometimes longer depending on the student, university, and program.

The Pre-university department is aimed for foreign citizens who intend to continue studies at belarussian universities as undergraduate, master, or doctoral students. Students are trained in groups between 8 and 12 persons. Upon request pre-university students are provided with accommodation in a comfortable student hostel for the entire period of studies.
